Summary
Hunting Marfa Lights takes the reader on a fascinating journey in pursuit of mysterious nocturnal luminous phenomena that sometimes appear near Marfa, Texas. These unusual lights were first observed by Native Americans who believed them to be fallen stars. In addition to frequent onsite observations and photography, the author installed four monitoring stations named Roofus, Snoopy, Owlbert A and Owlbert B, and equipped them with up to ten fully automated cameras that ran every night collecting data from all sources of light including his targeted elusive mysterious lights. This array of nightly monitoring stations provided the author with detailed data from all light sources for over a decade in the area of interest. Hunting Marfa Lights also includes 34 compelling stories told by individuals who have encountered these mysterious lights and have been amazed by the experience. Bunnell's investigation is the only detailed long term study of Mysterious Marfa Lights that has ever been conducted
