Summary
During the Renaissance in Florence, bookseller Vespasiano da Bisticci produced and sold many hundreds of volumes from his bookshop for clients such as popes, kings, and princes. His bookshop was also a meeting place for prominent poets and philosophers. Eventually the printing press threatened his life's work and by 1480 he was swept away by this technological invention
