Summary
Still Time to Die, first published in 1943 is the gripping account by noted war correspondent Jack Belden of his frontline experiences in the Chinese-Japanese War, then with the British Army fighting Rommel's Afrika Corps in North Africa, and finally, with the Allies in the landings on Sicily and the Italian mainland (where he was seriously wounded). As he recovered from his wounds, he wrote a series of essays about the nature of war, which are also included in this classic book
