Summary
It seems like yesterday when Shari Darling helped send her second husband, Carl Paskel, to prison for molesting her eight-year-old daughter, Tami. Three years have passed and now, Carl has been released on parole, supposedly living an exemplary life. Carl seems repentant, but Shari is unable to forget his dark side When the bodies of young girls begin to appear, Shar's friend, seasoned detective Tom DeMayo, starts receiving poetry claiming responsibility for the horrific crimes. Evidence points to Dale Richards, another child molester who has recently completed a thirteen-year prison term. But when Sherry begins to interview Carl's cellmate and self-proclaimed psychic, Russell Blaine, he alleges Carl is killing the girls and is preparing to come after Shari. Meanwhile, a tormented man stalks victims in the dark of night and cries, knowing nothing will ever be the same for him again. In this gripping thriller, Shari Darling, caught in the crosshairs of a serial killer, must face her deepest fears with nothing but her anger to protect her
