Summary
The baby boomer generation always asked, "Where were you when Kennedy was shot?" My question now is: "Where were you when the towers fell on 9/11?" This book is an anthology of those answers from relatives, friends, colleagues, and friends of friends. Even 20 years later, the memories are vivid. Let's hope that the next generation never has to endure something so horrific.Proceeds from the sales of this book will go directly to The FDNY Fire Family Transit Foundation. The central focus of the Foundation is assisting the families of firefighters in their times of greatest need, in transporting firefighters, family members, and department personnel to and from medical institutions both for care and family support. The Foundation is all-volunteer, entirely non-profit, and depends on donations of equipment, funds, and service to carry out its mission
