Summary
After they set up a camp of sorts, about a quarter mile from the trail, he positioned himself on the north side of the trail and they took the south side. Nate was on the south side as well, but a little more west of the 'killing zone' as he called it and it was his job to take care of anyone who made it past him and Zeb. Nate was also free to move about to provide meals for the two men who sat for hours on end and watched for the killers to appear, which Nate did without complaining because after all, by nature, he was not a killer himself
