Summary
Naxos Audio presents a fully-dramatized production of Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. Bassanio desires to court the lovely Portia, but he simply cannot afford such wooing. In order to help Bassanio, Antonio, a Venetian merchant, borrows three thousand ducats from Jewish moneylender Shylock.
