Summary
Enter a whimsical world, created in vivid detail with stunning illustrations by Alison Jay and clever, lyrical rhymes. Insect customers clamor to dine at the Tiny Baker's cafe, but when the ladybug chefs fly off and upend the pristine bakery's kitchen, the Tiny Baker learns an important lesson about friendship. Hayley Barrett lives outside of Boston, USA with her husband, John. Their two terrific children have grown and flown, but they come home often for tea and cookies. She has written several books for children. A graduate in illustration from the London College of Printing, Alison Jay has been illustrating children's books for ten years. To create her unique style, she uses alkyd oil paint on paper with a crackling varnish, which gives her illustrations an antique, nostalgic quality. Alison lives and works in London, England
